At The Spaniel School, our goal is simple — to help you build a confident, happy partnership with your dog.

We share training advice, guidance and equipment recommendations based on experience, knowledge and best practice. However, every dog is an individual, and training outcomes can vary.

This disclaimer applies to all advice and guidance provided by The Spaniel School, including:

  • In-person training sessions

  • Online sessions or virtual consultations

  • Website content

  • Downloadable guides

  • Emails

  • Social media content

  • Product instructions and recommendations

Your Responsibility as a Dog Owner

By taking part in training sessions or using our products or advice, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour and welfare at all times

  • You will supervise your dog appropriately when using any equipment

  • You will use products safely and as intended

  • You understand that progress and results cannot be guaranteed

Dogs, especially spaniels, are wonderfully unique — and factors such as age, health, environment, prior training, and temperament all influence outcomes.

No Guaranteed Results

Training is a process, not a quick fix.

While we provide structured guidance and support, we cannot guarantee specific behavioural results. Success depends on consistency, environment, and the individual dog.

Use of Training Equipment

All training tools, chews, and equipment must be used responsibly and under supervision.

The Spaniel School is not liable for:

  • Injury to people or dogs resulting from misuse of equipment

  • Damage caused by a dog

  • Behavioural issues arising from incorrect application of training methods

  • Outcomes where advice has not been followed or has been applied inconsistently

Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

When to Seek Additional Support

If your dog displays signs of:

  • Aggression

  • Severe anxiety

  • Resource guarding

  • Complex behavioural challenges

We recommend seeking assessment from a suitably qualified behaviour professional or veterinary professional.

Our Commitment

We care deeply about dogs and their owners. Everything we share is intended to support positive, ethical training practices and responsible dog ownership.

We’re here to guide and support — but the day-to-day decisions and supervision will always rest with you as your dog’s owner.
